Brackish Wet Pets

Wet pets? You mean fish with personalities?

Haha.... then you're finding yourself lucky - both Muskippers (Periopthalmus sp.) and several pufferfish (mostly Tetraodon sp.) are packed with character. Just note that mudskippers need a very special environment that includes a 'beach' (land out of water), and puffers need very good water quality.

The setup "beach" is vivarium. Yes, they do require land to be able to rest on.

So far my best wet pets have been Oscars. I've had them rest in the palm of my hand and let me pet them like dogs. I just got a Tex thats 8" and I don't think I will have that luck with him. I think you have to raise them from young to have to be able to do that with them. Has anyone been able to pet a Tex this is my first one.

Oscars are pretty personable ime, but definately not brackish. I'd say a puffer
