so ive saved up some money and fathers day is coming up and im treating myself...i was going to buy a 300 or 350 gal acrylic but everyday i am loving more and more these diy tanks and the look of the plywood tanks...i have the basic idea down but still need some help...read alot of the diy post and stuff but still missing some info and have some questions...
1st is how long do these things last??...i mean i plan to have it for a long time dont want any problems...
2 is what can i plan to spend for a 300 gal set up like this???...
ive seen most of them always have the acrylic panel on the outside...why not place it inside???...wouldnt it always have pressure on it with the wood bracing it??...and be less prone to leak??...
and also filtration seen alot of different setups whats working best for u guys with these monter tanks???...im really interested in taking the plunge...lol...only other thing stopping me is knowing i gotta move in a year and wondering how to get it out the door...lol...i guess i could work around that with dimensions...just make it a lil longer...thanks for ur help guys ahead of time...alex
