Brand new air rifle

Need the money so im selling my rifle, never been used still in the sealed box. Its a remington genesis and ill sell it for $160. Would rather have a pick up from Jersey but i can send it also. The picture is from the internet, doesnt come w/ a scope.. that needs to be bought.

shoots 1000 feet per second and takes .177 caliber pellets.. these are the ones i use, description says Innovative head design combines sharp polymer tip with hollow head - Delivers penetration and shock to vital organs. Cuts and shatters bone on contact.

how much does the scope cost i was interested until i read the scope was not included

scopes cost anywhere from $30 to $300 plus probably. Is up to you what u want from your scope. The gun was bought for $190 and since its never been used $150 is a great price. Its also better that you get to choose your own scope because the one that is included isnt that good anyways.

I want to add so that prospective buyers know...

Make sure you buy a scope designed specifically for air rifles. Believe it or not but the unique recoil from an air rifle will throw the zero off of regular rifle scopes.

A lot of break barrel guns have a "break-in period" of about 500 or so shots . If anyone buys the gun and decides to put a scope on it , keep this in mind if you can't get it zeroed in right away. By the way , a break barrel gun is called that because of the way you cock the spring-piston inside the gun by pulling the barrel downward until it reaches a 90 degree angle or so to the stock of the gun.

thanks for the input people, the gun should also quite down a lil after break in. I own the same one, my scope has a pressure sensitive laser and light on it. (this one im selling was going to be brought to college)
