just got a brand new pike not sure on the species said red pike but dont worry pics are comin soon also a baby redtail cat cant wait for that one to grow......brand new

'red pike' is usually the common name for Johanna's. the true (really) red pike
is "Tapajos Red". Good luck - post some pix.....

There are quite a few red pikes actually...haha..atabapos, cobras, but mostly females on those species...not sure about the atabapos..they might be both sexes like tapajos red...but yeah...thats probably a johanna you got! NICE PIKE UP! 
...btw...don't keep the RTC and the pike together for long....pike will eventually become food. I know it makes common sense to you and me, but some peeps actually do it and loose a great fish cuz of their stupidity...
