Brass in a fish tank??

I have been looking for some bulkheads for my plywood tank build, but I can't find pastic one's, the only one's I have found so far are made from brass.
Can brass be used in a fish tank or will it harm my fish??

LFS should have them, bigals has them.

I don't think Big Als will ship to Korea!

Brass should be fine and won't harm your fish. Just don't use brass fittings with saltwater.

I've used brass solenoids, valves, and fittings on freshwater tanks without problems.

just make sure there solid brass and not the nasty brass coated stuff.

I have found a US store that delivers overseas and has a great selection of bulkheads and a few other things I will need

I really didn't want to use brass fittings, but thanks for all the replies guys!!

i was going to tell you anyway to keep looking at web sites. theres bound to be quite a few willing to ship to Korea and beyond, you just hadda look, like you did

im surprised however eith all the manufacturing that goes on in the asian countries, that you couldent find anywhere more local to you. chances are pretty good i bet what your buying was manufactured over there anyway

I'm sure if I did look hard enough and long enough I could find what I need here, but trying to find something like these in a foreign country is not easy!!
