An incredible selection of Brazilian goodies have arrived!

It's been quite a long time since cobra pikes and marmorata pikes were available. I also also received Cr. cametana (sinister as always), Cr. cyclostoma (one of my personal favorites), and Cr. labrina.

The cobra pikes are available at 3-3.5" @ 125 and 5" @ 165 each. The first two photos are of current stock. The adolescent and adult photos are provided for reference only.

marm6.jpg

marmor1.jpg

The marmorata pikes are 2" @ 40 each. The first photo is of current stock. The adult photos are again for reference.

cyclo.jpg

cyclo1.jpg

The cyclostoma or 'round mouth' pike is an invertebrate-feeding species from the Tocantins. With a highly specialized beak-like mouth, a modified swim bladder for coping with flowing water, this unique little pike has earned a 'one of my favorites' status.
Current stock are 4-5" @ 65 each.

I also received a small quantity of Cren. cametana - another very unique Tocantins pike. They are 5-6" @ 75 each.

labrina.jpg

The labrina pikes are a md growing, colorful species that is not at all difficult to keep. Current stock are 3-4" @ 25 each.

maxil3.jpg

maxill.jpg

It's dorado time again! Real southern Brazil 'gold dorado' are back at 3.5-4" size @ 100 each. I like to share the adult photo for reference. That's exactly how the ones we fished out of Rio Uruguay looked!

rhomA.jpg

'Araguaia black diamond rhoms' are a real treat for piranha specialists. Current stock consists of 5-6" size @ 200 each.

spilo.jpg

spilo1.jpg

The 'Tocantins ruby/violet spilos' are another highly coveted piranha species. Current stock of 6-7" are 250 each.

pauc.jpg

I've been unable to even locate an image showing a live specimen of this species. To my knowledge, this banded silver dollar (or mini-dolphin pacu if you like) from the Rio Tocantins has never been imported into the US!
According to fishbase, this species grows to 8-9". Currently available stock are 2.5-3" @ 40 each or 6 @ 35 each.

lapid2.jpg

I received a small quantity of the ultra-cool Retroculus lapidifer of 2-2.5" @ 50 each

L134b.jpg

cata.jpg

I also received some interesting catfish as well.
The ever popular 'leopard frog pleco', L134, are 2.5-3" @ 60 each
The seldom imported 'chocolate/red raphael cat' from Rio Negro are 3-3.5" @ 35 each.
I also received some Ambrydoras hancocki from Rio Moju of 1.5-2" @ 15 each.

The above fish are only a small % of my total inventory.
Below is pasted copy of current stock list for review.
