Wake up, feed the baby guppies, always fun to make a cloud of flakes for them to swarm.

Walk to my kitchen, microwave some water to defrost chicken heart.

Switch the lights on, throw some ground fish food mix for the gourami, followed by a bite of chicken heart.

My Green Terror was being a puss, and took like five minutes to realize it's safe to eat out of my hand.
But the ultimate shame was that my Bichir, would NOT come to the surface for me, and wasn't exactly having the easiest time finding his meat. He's usually my pet dog, but not today.

Walk into the living room, throw some chicken heart in the 55, but it just breaks up and slowly lands on the Severum's head and I think it's still there. Almost every fish was eating chicken heart, which was a first.

The Betta we all love grabs a piece the size of a marble and runs away.. The other gourami did pretty much the same thing. All the Black Skirts, Guppies, and Corys were feasting. But that darned picky Severum held out until I gave him a bite of flakes.

The Dragon Goby was trying to find his usual pellet meal that he's so fond of, but I scared him trying to throw a piece of chicken heart there.

Was a pretty fun breakfast.

Sounds like my morning, but I feed my bicher/knife tank beef heart and frozen silversides...

Funny that you mention your Gourmi's habbits, I have 2 and BOTH were begging for food this morning, usually the one in my bigger community tank hides when I turn on the lights...I think he likes his new tankmates, a quartet of Tinfoil Barbs that are FULL of energy!

i dont feed my fish everyday, somedays i skip a day of feeding. but i feed them fresh shrimp and pellets and flakes and tiny pellets

:screwy:

I skip days for my Oscar and raphael cats, but never for fry unless there is a natural eco-system in their tank. My baby bettas are hard to see still, so I know better than to skip any feedings with them.
