i just put my trio of azuls into the 700. the orino, mono, pinima, and temensis in that tank all eat massivore.
the azuls have been in there for 3 days now and today they were hitting the massivore but spitting it out as fast as it was going in.
For the members with Azuls: in your experience, how long after the azuls started to hit pellets were they swallowing them?

im confident they will break eventually but im just curious how long it has taking in your experiences before??

thanks!

pics to come...

well mines been off live for about 6 months eating silversides and shrimp, still yet to take pellets, they are very strong willed. if they want it they will take it if they dnt they wont

if they're mouthing them already i dont think you have very long. try throwing the pellet and throwing a silverside right after so they don't have a chance to spit out the pellet. or try smaller pellets. mine took them pretty quick and it helps that theres competition in the tank.

It all depends. From my experience, took 1 week to get them to even attempt at eating it, then probably after another 1-2 days they don't spit it out anymore. But everyone's experience will be different, you just have to wait it out.

i soaked some massivore in the juice from the silversides to let them soften up and taste like silversides. they spit them....

i stuffed the massivore in the silersides and they took it right down. about 14 peices of massivore inside the silversides betweent he 3 of them.

theyll leearn....

If your other bass taking pellets, and your Azuls start tasting pellet, they may eat pellets in a week
