Staff on US airline Southwest ruled the passengers open cotton dress was inappropriate as it exposed a large amount of her boobs.
The woman - named only as Avital - ignored the ruling and managed to board the 6am jet, which reached its destination without issue.
She said: "I didn't want to let the representative's big feelings about my breasts change the way I intended to board my flight.
"And lo and behold, the plane didn't fall out of the sky...my cleavage did not interfere with the plane's ability to function properly.
Southwest spokesperson Christi McNeill said the company offered Avital an apology and a refund "as a gesture of goodwill.
She added: "We simply ask that our customers use good judgement and exercise discretion in deference to other customers who depend on us to provide a comfortable travel experience.
the pic on the article isn't the actual cleavage in question but similar supposedly. either way, i don't see why that would be an issue.
plus, i think they just made themselves look bad by not sticking to their guns and gave an apology along with a refund.
