I have a 30g setup for my 6'' midas male. I just added a 5" red-devil female to breed. When I put in the female, they started fighting within 10 minutes and the female would not let go of the midas bottom lip. Should I split them up or be patient and stick it out? Thanks

A 30g is way to small to breed a midas and red devil...They arent full size monsters yet but their territorial behavior is..You will need a bigger tank soon asap .. i would put a partition in the tank until their needs can be met
wow thats terrible u should set them up in sperate rubbermaid containers for now until u learn proper care also dont post assinine comments like i got awsome fish that im cramping how about we put u and some fat chick in a fridge box do u know about fish
