Breed Midas Cichlid Help

so in trying to breed the following 2 Midas Cichlid (Pictures Attached). Been 3 months and they still not breed. Im using the divider method with hole big enough for the female to go to the male. Also im doing water change 2 times per week and water temperature currently at 80. Any suggestions?

Try only doing a water change every 2 weeks changing only 20 -25 % of the Water. Make sure it cool water you are introducing back into the tank. Then let nature take its course.

After introducing cool water in the tank, an I suppose to turn off my heater? Cuz 12 hours later it the temperature go back up 80

No, you will leave the heater on. Introducing cooler water is always better. I used this method on my red sided barred Midas. But once the fry were free swimming he went crazy and killed everything now he is alone.

Bump your temps to 84f. I have 3 pairs in a 270 gal and was keeping them at 78-80. When I want to breed them I bump the temps to mid 80’s and they breed. Tank aggression also increases in all other tank mates.

I think my female too small and afraid??? the male aggression increase (want to attack the female) at 80f but the female wont go over to male side to breed....

Then she may not be ready. Not all fish will pair off and some pairs take time to bond.
