Hey guys!

I have a fiberglass tank. 12' by 6' by 2.5'. I am trying to breed string rays in there. i was thinking what else can i breed there at the same time.
For now i have some african cichlids which i am trying to get them to breed. I give them many hiding places to avoid being eaten by my rays.
Anymore ideas?

Thanks guys!

convict cichlids grow and breed quickly ........

Rays will slaughter anything you could breed in there. You could try some other large fish if you are willing to possibly divide it off at times. Peacock bass if you divide it to protect the nest could work. Mbuna or other African mouthbrooders but from what I understand they are cheap in your area of the world.

I think it is probably best to concentrate on rays if you want to breed. They can get pretty aggressive and very hungry when breeding. Anything that is potential food won't last long.
