Well, my Pike seems to be very stupid. If the food is not moving or in my hand (Yeah I can hand feed him now
) he will not eat/touch/notice it. So I am thinking about setting up a small 10G for feeder fish. However, I will not buy the cheap feeder guppies and I rather not risk disease and all that stuff. I've seen some nasty things happen to beautiful fish from eating nothing but feeders.
So, with that being said, I want to raise feeder guppies for him. How would I go about doing it, as far as pairs go, 2 females per male? How would I go about gut loading the feeders so there is some proper nutrient value to them.
I have a salmon meal based flake for color enhancing. I got it from a LFS in NY. It wasn't sold with a brand name so I couldn't give you a name.
I read the topic on live food on the forum and didn't get much information out of it. So I wanted to ask.
