Breeding and Sexing Demasoni

What size does Demasonis star breeding
and do u sex demasoni by there egg spots
i read that the males will have more pointed fins Is this true

Best way to sex them is to vent them. Research venting cichlids and you will get the information needed and pictures. Egg spots are not reliable.

Demasoni will spawn very early, as small as 1.5-2". They spawn constantly, this is part of what makes the aggression so high.

Egg spots, bold coloration, and finnage can help identify males that are 3"+, though they are only indicators, not full proof like venting. You will be able to identify dominant males by their behavior.

Sexing young demasoni is very difficult. Are you getting some? Already have them?

i was wondering what size demasoni start to spawn
i have 5 one is about 2" the rest are about 1 1/2 inch and i see them shakering at each other like they want to.
