Would it work if i bred three pairs of angels in 3 seperate sections of a 65g? each section would be an approx 18" cube. Tank overall is 48x18x18. I would like three diff morphs so i dont really want a buch throughout the tank.

1) is ths enough room per pair?
2) are there any morphs that are more in demand then others or any to avoid? Im not looking for profit, however i just want a morph that will sell fast so i dont end up with thousands that i can even ginve away.
3) would an eggcrate divider be ok ?

The plan i was thinking of was getting about 12 2"ers or something (about 4 of each morph, then let them pair then keep a pair from each morph.

I have 3 pairs in a 55 gallon. Originally had them all divided but took them down one day when cleaning and all 3 pairs still breed and all the time, infact all three pairs layed at once last week. Egg crate works really well for a divider.

so say i separated each morph into a sec tion, then i took the dividers out when they paired off. would this work since they already made pairs or would it be best to just keep then seperarate? At wahat age / size do they begin to pair off becasue i want them separate so they pick from their own morph and so i dont get crosses or multiple morphs. Would 8 (4 pairs) be to many for a 65 is i kept it all open with no dividers? Would this effect breeding?

Yeah keep them seperated if you want them to pair up with a specific mate. 4 pairs would be fine in a 65, just keep it clean. I keep mine in a barebottom tank. They will start to pair off around 8-9 months old. Once the pairs are made they shouldnt breed with other mates, atleast mine havnt!

i started with 11 in a 55 till they paired off now i have two 30 gallons separated for breeders, i use plastic dividers with little squares in between, htey sell them near the lighting section at home depot and lowes
