At my lfs there is a breeding pair on normal angelfish, that i want badly. I just stopped in today and the female angel had its egg tube dropped and was ready to lay eggs. The pair was cheap. I want them but i have no clue how to breed angelfish, can you help me out? I have water with a PH of 8.2, the owner of the lfs said the pair breed fine in 7.8. Could i pull it off? Also i have angel fish in the past and they have thrived in my water. If i get them should they go into a 55 or a 30? thank you.

They would be fine in both the 30 and the 55. As long as they are alone (in the 30.)

I have the same type water here, and mine breed well, and the eggs hatched. You may have to remove clutches as soon as they are born, and keep the eggs in methylene blue to prevent fungus spreading from the unfertilized eggs to the viable ones.

Good luck, if you need more guidance/have any more questions, I'd be happy to elaborate/help.
