So I have recently watched a documentary on how to breed angels. I breed alot of convicts but need to move on to something different. If anyone has any info on breeding these please share And yes (that means you that clicks on this thread just to look!!!lol). Anyways I want to get adleast 2 pair but I want them to pair up completely on their own so far I have 2x10g 1x15g and a 75g that is full of monsters. Should I get a 40g let them pair up and then seperate two pairs in 2 15g's. I really need some help :)

I don't know if a 15g is big enough for a pair to breed. You can try it but I'd go 20. You just get a group and let them pair up and remove the rest. You can either remove the eggs or let them hatch them but you will have to raise the fry because they aren't good parents.
I used to have mine in a community tank. When they laid eggs I would remove the eggs to a 10g to hatch and then grow the fry out in a larger tank until they were big enough to take in to the LFS to get store credit. Angels are great to raise and take to the LFS because they are always in demand so you can get rid of them easy.

Agreed and I wasnt planning on raising the parents in a 15g lol Im going to buy a new tank probably 30g-40g for the parents and leave the 2 tens and the one 15 as fry growout. I was just wondering what different peoples breeding setups were like.

20 gallon with a slate on it is good.... get yourself a nice pair that will raise up there own frys and you should be good...

Yup, it is the most common method that I know of. Condition them into wanting to breed with lots of frozen foods.

I placed pairs in 20 regulars, and removed eggs to 10's with lowered water initially and a airstone over the eggs, gradually raising the water as the fish grew. Bottom line water stability for the pair and close to food for their young. I used 40-50 for grow outs.
