i got a question i read this article it said when people harvest the eggs and baby they scare the male brooder and it sumtimes dies from harvesting is that true?oh yea the article said its in cambodia,after harvest the male brooder dies
 
probably happen sometimes but i don't think it's that often as those parents cost tons of $ too and i wouldn't think it's smart for the farms to let it happen, most of the farm are in singapore i think

Usually they dont die, but sometimes they stress it out too much and then they die.

Malaysia, indonesia are alsot littered with Farms.
Thailand has them aswell but they're not registered.
I would guess to save import costs "registered" farms support unregistered farms in the country of sale in SEA.
Obviously not all of them because some (like koji for example) are well established and wouldn't need to, but newer, less well know ones would.
