Breeding bala sharks?

I was at my exes place today and when we were looking at her fish, her bala's started doing this. She's never seen them do it before and they're not very big. Only about 5-6". Also sometimes 1 would bite at the others head but it didn't mind.

Not sure what they are doing but i dont think they would breed at that size. My balas are about 15" inches

I had the same thing happen to mine. I had 3 in my 560 and 2 of them tore up the third.
Watch them closely and be ready to pull out the beat up one.
I'm not sure if it was a spawn but it could have been.
The 2 I have in there now never laid eggs.

This is in my ex gf's tank over at her house so I don't really have much control over what she'll do if they start beating on the 3rd bala. They didn't really even notice that it was there though. They just focused on eachother
