My newest "hobby" is breeding ball pythons. I got my first python about 2 years ago. This was my first season I had females big enough to breed. I got 2 clutches this year, one had 8 eggs and 1 has 5. The one with 8 eggs hatched about 3 weeks ago and my very first egg that I cut open had twins in it! It was an awesome first experience. My wife and I are cutting the second clutch this evening. Next season we will likely have 4-5 females ready to go. If any of you are interested in seeing our collection, our babies, or interested in buying one, Here is a link to our facebook page! Anyone else on here breed and what do you have?

planning to get into them myself, just need to sell of this years babies from other animals 1st . congrats.

I downsized from 1200 gallons of water in fishtanks to a mere 300... and now I'm putting more time/energy into reptiles...

Including a new venture into breeding Ball Pythons!!!

I have 4 yearling females: Super Pastel, Pinstripe, Butter & Black Pastel... and one yearling male Pastel (plan to replace with Super Pastel)...

There's a thread somewhere aroudn here showign pics of at least a few of them (all I had at the time)... and I'm off to see your facebook page now!

Congrats on your first two clutches and double congrats on twins!

Thanks! We just cut our second clutch of eggs today and have 3 mojaves and 2 normals. Next year we are going for super mojaves and lavender albinos. Hopefully we hit the odds! Our next addition is going to be a pinstripe whether its just a pinstripe or something like a lemonblast. We have a bumblebee growing up too that I can't wait until she's big enough to breed!
