A co-worker has a pair that laid eggs last monday and they've yet to hatch. The eggs look fertile and do not have a fungus. Temp 70 deg F., pH 6.5-7.0. Any suggestions?

Jump temp to 78-80 F. Get live microworms, survival of corydoras fry is greatly enhanced by this food, up to 90% survival. Moving the parents now would be fine, and they can breed again in a different aquarium.

Cool, thanks! Do you by any chance know where one might purchase microworms?

Breeding corys can be very profitable if you get the right kinds, and the right setups.

So far he has succesfully bred paleatus, puntatus, pandas, aneous ( albino and regular), and sterbai corys many times ( he brings bags of them in all the time). This was his first attempt at barbatus, but it looks like they are getting ready to go again. :headbang2

Good list of corys. Live microworms are really good for the development of the sterbai corys. Awesome little corys.

It's pretty cool, any time we get a storm they all go into breeding behavior.
