Breeding Betta Fish

Hi all this is my first post. I am looking for some advice on breeding Bettas. I need advice like tanks, feeding and which strain of Bettas to breed?

i would put a male in a 5.5g then a female in a 1g goldfish bowl and put the tanks side by side. then when the male starts to make a bubble nest i would put the 2 together. the after she lays the eggs i would take her out.
