well my two bettas that I have had for only two days (male and female).... well the male was courting the female and I woke up to and "nest" of bubbles on the surface of the water... I actually moved the female thinking that she was being stressed out...

but is it just bubbles or eggs?

thanks
shane...

check the bubble nest for eggs!

if there are eggs there then remove the female, if not let them continue courtship!

Search the topic on Google. There are plenty of in depth guides that will walk you along the process!

should be eggs in the bubbles

Just a note of precaution. Make sure that there is no wind draft across the spawn. The father will do all the work once they are hatched. He may kill the female or seriously injure her so she should be removed. Get a misco worm culture started, or daphnia is you can find it. Fresh hatched birne shrimp is great too after they are free swimming
