Hello Everyone i have been trying to breed my bettas for quite some time Just a day or 2 ago i interduced a female still in her jar to my males 5.5 gallon breeding thank he was happy built a bubble nest and every thing then i interduce The Female to the male in the tank and she swam away like they always do he picks on her left right and center. Still nothing for about 40 min i wait and wait shes was just not interested or ready now. I would like to know how if anyone knows how old female bettas have to be for Breeding? If anyone has picture of a female that is ready Please post it and How do i get them fat and full of eggs.
Well to end this story for today i put the female back in hear jar interduced another one that was flaring its gills at the male also Still in that ones jar to condution then for a few days. Is this normal for Females when they are interested She turned from a dark brown with here Bright tale to a light pale brown.
