breeding bichirs

I believe the male has a "meatier" anal fin. I think they can be bred, but that it's not really practical for most home aquarists since part of the bichirs mating routine is leaping from the water.

I have had trouble sexing mine, however i bought them as a pair
I have two dinosaur bichirs
it is very hard to tell a difference but he is right, there is a difference around the tails, one is more full than the other.
I have them currently in one of my breeding tanks i will let you know if anything occurs in the next couple days

This is a good question because i have a lot of bichirs but theones i want to breed are my albino.
i think i read about someone on MFK being able to bread his bichirs, but i dont think they were senagals, i think they were ornates. he didnt say anything about what happened that i remember but i just remember him saying something like,"it was (some amount of time) before my female ornate swelled up with eggs."
