Breeding bluegills

I'm just guessing that you put them in a good sized tank with NO heater, feed them well, do water changes and then have some patience. Oh and make sure the water that their in meets their needs.

decent tank size, good water and food, a gravel substrate and a warming of the water from 65 degrees is all it took for my longear to start making nests. The gills wanted to, but the longear wouldn't let them near the bottom of the tank for long enough.
I'd keep the females separate until the nests are made, then remove them once you have the eggs.
oh, and room for 10,000 babies.
