I have a pair of albino bristlenose that have recently spawned how long does the male keep them in the cave its been about a week i saw some out today but he was still in the cave fanning it looks like, would it hurt for me to check the cave and move the fry

It will not hurt to move the fry if you do have another tank use the same water and transfer them so that you can feed them easily, and keep the tank cleaner than the community tank which I assume they are now ? =]

I used to transfer them when they were still unable to swim - so yeah IMO and (little) experience it's OK to move them after they hatch =]

Take care, good luck and take some pics ! =)

Also doesn't hurt to leave them in with the parents. I'd recommend using a torch light and examining the cave-- if there are still eggs, leave them alone and let the male do the work. Lowest mortality rate going this route IME.
