breeding candidates for 100gal aquarium

so far my candidates are:
jack dempsey
texas cichlid
jaguar cichlid
green terror
marakeli cichlid

I don't think the tank would be big enough for a pair of Jags. I'd go with Jd's.

can i keep a pair of marakeli cichlids with a pair of jack dempsies?

I've never kept marakeli, but I think they might be 'too peaceful' and might end up being punching bags for the jd's.
