I'm on my first round of breeding, I have a couple that are laying on their backs(not DEAD)still moving their leg,Is this part of the laying process, I did research and did not find anything on them laying on their backs,There is two of them both females and they have been like that for days now,All of my levels are fine, Wondering if some one can point me in the right direction Thanks:headbang2

im no expert on CRS but im pretty sure they are not supposed to do that, my ghost shrimp never did that when they had babies. probably some disease

Oh yea a remember, I had a bamboo shrimp that did that and it died 2 days later

i had like 10 now i cant count how many i have also i dont do any thing special i just keep them in planted tetra tank and they multiply

Usually laying on their backside means they are molting. (shedding skin)
If your tank doesn't have very many hiding places, then that's normal. Molting is normaly unseen in heavily planted tanks. If they have been like that for days, then the may be having trouble molting. Or, they are just dying.
