ok, so i am farely new to the fish game. started out about 2 years ago. i have spawned jaguars and convicts, both without really even trying. now i have my festae, a 11inch male, a 10 inch female and a 8 inch female. i have them in a 135 gal aquarium, with a common pleco, a 12 inch oscar and 3 small GT's.

they were in a 125 gal just the three of them. i did a big water change and added cold water and and then did little 10 percent water changes for about a week, and the larger female layed eggs. the next morning all were gone.

now i moved them into the 135 and am doing small water changes daily. about 10 gallons. they kept there color for first couple days. now they have dropped all there color. and the female is not allowing the male anywere near her.

i was wondering if anyone had any advice for me on little tricks to get them to spawn.

right at the moment i am feeding hikari gold pellets, and they dont touch that. i am also feeding massivore, they seem to love that. and once a week i give them some frozen shrimp.

any advice would be appreciated.
