I have a proven mating pair of clownfish and I wanted to breed them. i was wondering if anyone here could give me some hints on how to separate the eggs from the parents so they dont eat them....again. And how to care for them til they hatch and then care for the fry. Thanks in advance.

i'd ask in the saltwater section

Sometimes male clownfish just seem to eat the eggs, this seems to happen with less experienced clowns. How many times have they spawned?
If they have just started you may have to give them time to get the hang of it.
you could also ask http://www.marinebreeder.org/phpbb/ (they've all done it before-I just read up on it)

They were usually pretty good at the aquarium. One of the parents would stay near the eggs and fan water over them while the other parent ventured out a bit more and kept potential predators away. What the keeper said was that the eggs were orange when laid and would turn silver in a few days then hatch 4-5 days after. (Silver eggs due to development of the eyes and the light reflecting off their eyes.)
