Any one can help me, I have 2 males (Flowerhorn & Green Texas) and 2 females (Midas & Red Devil). Is it possible that male Flowerhorn can breed with female Midas / Red Devil or male Green Texas can breed with female Midas / Red Devil?

I would say that breeding is possible from the FH as a hybrid fish they can breed with a lot and might even be part Midas/RD. My question is what do you plan on doing if this happens because if a FH and a Midas pair up your other tankmates are as good as dead. These are very aggressive fish even with they are not spawning and I don't know if a tank with these four would in general work out long term.

No actually its didn't happened, I want to try this because I don't have females of flowerhorn and Green Texas, and already have 2 females (Midas & Red Devil) are without males. regarding the tank right now all the fishes are in seperate tank.

Maybe you will have better luck in the hybrid section. This section is for individuals that keep their fish pure, and dont get stupid ideas and get odd ball fish to spawn. If this happens, I hope you use the fry as food and if you keep any, NEVER give them away or sell. That is what is wrong with this hobby, all of you so called fish hobbyist that think its cool to cross breed everything and then start flooding the market with hybrids. That is why we have the issues with the mydevils.

Go hang out with your own kind in the hybrid section. :wall:

all the listed species are known to cross especially the texas so much so it may be hard to find true texas one day as is the case with finding true trimacs now. If you do produce hybrids be responsible about it it may not seem a big deal at the time but the ramifications are far reaching.

I am not telling that I am going to do this, 1st thing I just asked and also this is not my business to breed and sell, I have other work to make money. 2nd thing I have been keeping the cichlids for last 10 years and never tried to breed. thats the reason I have 1 pcs of every specie.
