Breeding Comets?

Hey all,
I am looking into breeding a growing my own comets. I have no clue about comets besides the fact that they are feeders and great gifts to give to kids as a pet. Anyways can anyone share some general info on breeding comets. How big do they have to be to start mating, how big of a tank can I start with? etc...
