breeding conditions??

i have a 29gallon tank with
a pair of keyholes who in the past laid eggs and fert them then others ate em in the night....
also have 1koi angel/2 clown loaches/1albino redtail shark/1 senagal birchir whos new......
ok keys seem to have stopped laying eggs

what to do more water changes?

Give them their own tank.

yes you should separate them if you can....
if they feel like the fry/eggs will be eaten they will not lay eggs.

great thanks for advice
prob is got no more tanks or space....not that i really need to breed them just would have been nice for a one offi just thought other tank members wouldnt cause a problem

If you cant give them their own tank to breed in then you wont have the room to raise them either. Fry do need their own tank.

Your loaches love eggs. Definitely need a few more tanks if you want to breed.

yea i know.....have got a 3ft tank sat gathering dust but waiting to sell flat so you never know when were off
