Breeding Convicts Tankmates?

Im gonna set my 30g tank up as a convict breeding tank....I will just use the fry as feeders...but anyways....what Male and female ratio should i have?? 1 Male and how many Females???
also can i keep a catfish in with them something that will sneek around at night and eat some eggs???

Maybe, but they may eat the eggs. Usually breeding pairs in a 30 gallon are all you can have.

Maybe even an SA Bumble Bee cat, although Im not sure about eggs but it will eat fry in the night.

I had a convict pair that kept an 11" pleco in it's place.

Plecos will try and eat eggs, thats why I suggested a BN pleco cause they stay pretty small, and they are one of the plecos that DO EAT algae. But theres a big chance that any fish with a pair of cons will come under heavy fire.
