Breeding Convicts vs Breeding Dwarf Egyptian Mouthbrooders

The reason for this is because convicts seem easy to breed and there is a lot of info. However people say that the male kills the female and that you need 40+ gallon.

Whereas Dwarf Egyptian Mouth Brooders look so good at my local lfs but there isn't much info on them.

I read somewhere that this guy was swapping a pair of convicts for another fish and he had put the pair in a 5 gallon bucket the night before and when he handed them off to the next guy he asked why he gave him eggs. They had spawned in the bucket. If that’s not guppy breeding easy then I’ll eat my hat.
