I have a ton of corys does anyone have experience with breeding them? Can you cross breed Herald Shultz's cory with a 3 line cory? Or a peppered with a green or panda? Any answers would be nice.

depends on the fish, if they want to interbreed. some species are weird and won't others don't care

i say, change out some water with cooler water, feed them some snack food with their regular diet, and watch them for breeding behavior.

breeding behaviors: males and females chasing each other, two fish in the T position, and see if they clean the glass for a place to put eggs.

Thanks, that really sounds like too much work, I wasn't really serious, I just wanted to know if they would.

lol. it's really not too much work. just change the water out, and in a few days there should be eggs. they pretty much do their own thing.

No, I don't mean the corys are too much work. The breeding just sounds too long, that's why it sounded complicated. I suppose it isn't.

it's about two days and there will be eggs, but they take awhile to grow, so i guess that's kind of time consuming

lol thats funny I know what you mean but it was funny.

If you have a pair in time they could breed . Like the post said water change is the key.

I had them in little pond all yr long but it was during rainy season which started few months ago did they breed.

I didnt do anything but the daily water down pour triggered them to breed .
Water changes equal same and one week after you do a good weekly water change you might get them to spawn. Other's here have without trying .
