does anyone know a good place to go to get info on breeding crayfish in a tank, or even if anyone has done it before. i want to know like what the temp needs to be, water, lighting, tank set up, how many males or females, stuff like that. i have a 55gal with some reg red crayfish and then two big blue ones. i know they like it in there bc they have gotton bigger and lost there smaller xo skeletons a couple of times. oh and how do u sex them

and my eggs just hatched tuesday and FINALLY yesterday i was able to see atleast 20 little baby blue crays walking aroung the tank. and quite literally all i have then in is a 10 gallon tank, one clay pot, 2 pvc Y pipes and an air stone. the tank is kept at whatever the room temperature is and i have one of those cheesy incandescant lights that comes with a 10 gallon aquarium kit. you have a much larger tank that i do but i've been advised to keep one male and one female together for mating purposes. Also when the female is "in berry" the pair should be watched to be sure the male isnt beating on the female. I had to keep my male in a 5 gallon bucket because he was clipping off the females legs!!!
