breeding creek chubs

can you breed creek chubs in a tank? can't find much info online but i was told they don't do well in captivity, needing a current etc to reproduce.

Creek chubs can do well in captivity, I've kept a few chubs no problem, with chubs keep water clean, I like to keep water about 7 inches deep, with some flow, I think they could be bred in a current tank, for info on breeding find the wild breeding habits and replicate

They need fast flowing and extremely clean water. Try and alter the temp to go with the seasons and condition the fish well. Thats all i know
