breeding crickets

i was told 20 crickets could produce 250-300 crickets. is this true i plan on having a breeding group of 1000 adult crickets

I have heard that too. I would try 40-50 but:

why do you want 1000 noisy crickets. (sorry, I HATE crickets).

I do buy them, freeze them, break the legs off, and feed them to my fish. They are only around here long enough to freeze.

i hope you have an outside room for them! they'll drive you crazy as they escape and seemingly live forever in the house. but yeah they are really good at breeding. egg cartons and cricket food, WAHLA!

what can i use to measure how my crickets i ahve i foun one, but it only measures 100
