Breeding Cubans w/ fh?

Today I brought home 2 female Cuban cichlids for my Cuban male. Once he picks the one he wants I'll have one extra. Any chance of getting anything decent from a cross between a Cuban and a zz?

Have you ever seen this cross? Anyone have photos?
My zz's kok is not huge but he's got one. He's also got a ton of pearls, full flowerline and a big flowerspot that I think might look nice on the b&w mosaic from the Cuban. I know they never turn out quite as you'd expect but I'm def curious to see....

I'm also on the hunt for a nice female bp to try with my male. He seems interested in any female he sees. On the other side of the divider in his tank are my pair of festae. There's def a love connection between him and the female from that pair as they spend a lot of time displaying for each other.... unfortunately that cant happen with the male festae around.

I wouldn't bother crossing a cuban with a fh unless you want a long breeding project spanning a few generations. The offspring will be longer bodied thus undoing a large amount of work that went into breeding the fh.
 
I wouldn't expect the offspring to grow big humps. I'm just curious as to whether you think the offspring would be pleasing to look at or not. I'm even more curious to see pics of this mix.

Offspring will look freaky if the female is a cuban. You want more fh blood in the offspring if your into the fh look. But if your into something weird and freaky, fisheinstein looking then cuban female. But something in the beauty and unique...flowerhorn female.

True. Well there are still so many bridges to cross before then. I've never tried to breed the male, don't know if he's fertile.
