Where the Parachromis roam...
I have a pair of Texas Cichlids the male is 8"-9" the female 4"-5",the female has what i call her breeding dress on,half her body is black now instead of blue. She has been doing most of the courting(chasing him around)she also has cleaned off 3 different breeding spots for them(he has helped her very sparingly) they have been together for a little over 2 weeks now and nothing has happened,do you think thry will spawn??I am just worried he flips out one day and kills her, right now they get along fine(actually he doesnt bother any of the other fish in my tank)but if they do spawn he may go physco on my other fish, can any of you guys help and tell me what might be going on??Thanks.Nick.C.:headbang2

I would just keep an eye on them and have a divider ready incase somthing goes sour. what other fish are in the tank, you might want to move them if she lays eggs.
