breeding ebjds questions

first off i love this site, I have 2 ebjd males and i have two blue gene females. i separated one of each into separate tanks one set has laid eggs one has not but the male has been showing his colors as of late i got my fingers crossed lol. How important is the uv sterilizer for the fry and if its a must whats a quality one to buy. ty for any help

If you are going to cross a blue gene with an ebjd then you will probably need a sterilizer. Do it right and cross two blue genes together and you probably won't. Coralife's turbotwist is a good one, though the twists don't really do anything.
