Okay so I just noticed this morning that my crayfish is carrying eggs. I have her in a 5 gallon tank for now (only one I had available) but I have no idea how to proceed from here. I was hoping some of you guys might be able to answer some of my questions:
1) Once the babies are born, are they in danger of being eaten?
2) Should I feed the carrying cray normally, or do I need to change its diet slightly?
3) On average, how long does it take for the eggs to hatch? (sorry I have no idea what species she specifically is)
4) The father is a white crayfish, would this produce a blue/white coloured morph in the offspring?

Sorry if this is a lot, I tried to do some research but I couldnt find any answers with 100% certanity

Thanks guys :)

I'm pretty sure that electric blue crays aren't self cloning, I have had mine for a few months without eggs.

It is my understanding that marbled crays (marmokrebs or something like that) are the only ones that reproduce asexually. They don't come in all colors as each is a clone of its parent and will have the exact same coloring, down to the dot.

Electric blue crays are a diff species.

Not excatly. They comes in all colors based on the diet and the water quality.

Any pics? Never heard of this before. That could be some big money! Those little guys sell for $20 a pop normally.
