no its not worth it ... if you wanna try then all the power to you but be warned it could turn out to be an expensive mistake. They will in all probability kill each other

Has anyone heard of it beeing done.. i have a couple of them and i was wondering if it was worth it to try..

not to get your hopes down, be even just keeping 2 elongs, even any serra together is askig for trouble, even if they didn't kill eachother in the first 30 seconds, i highly doubt they would breed, so my advice don't put 2 together because you will loss a fish, if not 2

Indeed, IF you get a cohab it is very unlikely you will get a breeding pair. And if you were to do everything in your arsenal to make them breed (huge tank, river current, perfect temperatures, perfect water stats)… and did a huge study on how they breed in the wild so you can mock it: the cost would far weight-out breeding them (if you were successful), even just for self satisfaction.

How do you know "very unlikely you will get a breeding pair" if you could get them to live together, they might breed.
