Ok, hello again, I'm still lurking around here
I just got myself a Leaffish, and it's happy eating neon tetras, but my wallet isn't so happy. I want to try and breed some kind of livebearer. Now, I have a tank that is 15x15x60cm, so how many guppies or mollies do you think I could cram in there to get the best breeding rate? And what ratio does it have to be? 1:3 male:female? My plan is to breed them in that tank (which I will heavily plant) and then scoop fry out and put them in a 3G tank until they are used. Also, what is better? Guppies seem to breed more, but the fry are smaller are they not? Mollies give bigger fry right?
Any help or tips appreciated
Paul
