breeding feeders, your opinions

don't feed them feeders.

make them part of a varied diet and not the main component ( at leats not for your Pacu being they are mostly herbevorous) none of the fish you listed are "predetory" but mainly opportunistic omnivoures. unless you are keeping piscivores guppies even gut loaded are expensive and incomplete in and of themselves as food. But you can also try stepping up to platies or mollys. sailfin mollys ime breed like mice and will drop as many or more fry per pregnancy then guppies, But they are large and need a fairly larger set-up to breed reliably steady. so in the long run you may financially and nutrinionally be better off on a high quality pellet thats suppliented with nightcrawlers, and frozen foods.

He can buy adult feeder guppies and breed them.. they are 12 for $1.50 around here, and have given me hundreds of babies in no time.
