Hey peeps,

Im no stranger to breeding americans, i done with Jags, Texas, convicts (everyone has), parrots and flower horns.

But these guys are just costing me so much time -_-

Got them like 4 weeks ago with their own 4foot tank with drift woods and rocks.

Temp is high around 28 C, the females tube is just hanging out massively and the male moves the big rock around and around.

Anyways they showing signs but they yet to breed. The previous 2 owners had the same problem with them breeding.

Anyone else can me give tips? or just leave it as it is? or maybe add a small fish as a distraction.
 
Try doing a couple water changes with slightly cooler water, and feed some live/frozen foods. Also, it's only been 4 weeks, have some PATIENCE! It sounds like they are close!
 
They are tooo close, any fish that comes in pretty much dies.

Im running out of time yet again since i need to go over seas in feb for another 5months for work. -_-
