In the water
If I put some mollys or something In my tank that were to big for my fish to eat, would the mollys breed and so my fish could eat their fry. Would this work. Would I be able to do it with neons and how do I get the fish to breed.

lol... why do you have to feed your fish live food?

your fish will get like 0 nutrients...what kind of fish you got?

Because it's cool to watch and I have a little pike cichlid, a very little sen bichir, a geo earth eater, small Texas, and 2 pictus catfish that are still very small.

ok i'm going to breakfast and gym... just looked up threads by you... congrats on being a texas owner awesome fish!!

Fish go crazy over frozen bloodworms... my fish literally fight over the stuff... also frozen krill are great source over the dried crap!!

blood worms are like 4 bucks a package for like 24 cubes also get some beaf heart to mix it up... and krill 8 bucks for a big frozen bag.... also buy this online because it's mad money... Hikari Massivore delight... big sinkers... do all this and you will have join the club in having one of the brightest and healthiest texas' around... good luck and stay away from the mollies...

also if you want to breed something... try ghost shrimp... so mutch fun to watch those get fed.... lol my pike goes coo coo...

just saw your post.. i have a huge spot faced pike(well like 8") and texas/fh fish... they fight over blood worms... and the ghost shrimp dodge them sometimes when they try to get them...lol you can have fun with non live food trust me.... and your fish will have the brightest colours...

I feed them all kind of other stuff I have like four dif types of pellets and dry blood I feed them and like to watch fish eat other fish I fish, spearfish, and dive I see fish all the time but I never get to see them chase down dish and eat it. Watching that is one of the coolest things for me. Would the mollys breed in my tank.

My dad won't let me set up another tank that's why I was trying to find out if I could just breed them in my tank

I had the same problem with the gf (she thinks I have an addiction), but if I show her pics of stuff, she slowly begins to like them most of the time and now she is even going to buy some shrimp for the tank haha

what more could I ask for?

upgrad to a 75 gallon and put bookcases on both sides.. he won't notice :)
do the gost shrimp once in a while... they swim around and will be hunted... spearfishing for the win BTW... believe it or not we have reefs and reef type fish up north... it's just all dark reds and browns... on a good day you can see 30 feet down.. i free dive and have had some close calls getting back up after catching some sea bass or black fish.... it's right along the atlantic too.. i'm always afraid a shark is gonna come out and eat me for lunch so i carry 2 thigh knives too lol(not sure if they will save me but what ev..)
