Breeding Flower Horns

My female flower horn is digging out a hole in the gravel inside a cave. It has made a very large hole. My question is, is this a sign that they are ready to breed? What actions should i take in order to let them succeed in breeding? thanks for your help

your guess is as good as mine... i have a pair of FH that dig holes, twitch, guard nests...and still nothing good luck

they're just plainly digging.. some FH's just do it for nothing.. anyway best of luck to u

yes well to the point where i noticed it about a week ago so i would asume it has dropped
